We are so mean to ourselves. Honestly, generally we speak so negatively and in such a deprecating manner, no wonder we have self-esteem issues, (I'm not solely blaming self-speech, but we would be here until the end of time dissecting societal and traumatic influences on our self-worth), Reminding yourself that you are capable, worthy and deserving is something that you need to do constantly to battle the programming that we've been burdened with.
You cannot jump from zero pushups to fifty just like you can't go from constant doubt and undermining to confidence and bolstering overnight. The work needs to be done.
